Time flies...

Time really does fly, it's already mid February 2016 and spring is around the corner. The cats are enjoying the sunshine from their lookout spot and plants are beginning to awaken in the garden. After planting like mad all autumn it's gonna be so much fun to see what's coming up, and where! My memory about where I put what is a bit so so :)
My plan to photograph the garden every month last year kinda failed, but it was not much to look at after October. No rain at all in September and the it just kept pouring, or at least that's what it felt like. Christmas and new year's eve came and went and now let's see what this year brings :)

Coming up and cleaning up

The seeds I planted in plastic boxes outside are beginning to grow! So exciting to see :)
I made a wreath from some dogwood branches for the front door
This pine lost most of its lower branches in a storm many years ago and it just looked kinda shabby with some still sticking out and while we were taking other branches to the recycling yard we decided to take some of these branches down as well. Easier said than done, the boyfriend fought quite a while with this one before it finally came off.
And then he passed out on the sofa with Embla ❤
This salix also got a little makeover since it was just filled with old dead branches and twigs. Not everything is gone but it looks happier than before at least :P
I ❤ hibiscus!
